Skylar and Sean had an amazing Halloween wedding at Riverbend Farms in Tellico Plains, TN. This was my first time photographing a wedding on Halloween and it was so much fun! Skylar and Sean perfectly blended beautiful fall elements of sunflowers, mums and pumpkins with fun pops of Halloween with guests in costume.
I met Skylar and her sweet momma, Tami back in February at the Foothills Bridal Show. I am so sad I will be out of town this year and not able to attend this show. We met again after the show and Skylar booked me as her photographer. I finally had a chance to meet Sean during their spring engagement session at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens. Click here to look back and their sweet session. These two have the sweetest relationship and I had such a blast at their engagement session, I just knew their wedding would be so much fun.
They chose Riverbend Farms as their wedding venue and I think it was the perfect compliment to a Halloween wedding. The venue offers some rustic elements along with a lovely getting ready space and beautiful mountain views. The gorgeous countryside was in full beauty with fall color. A perfect compliment to a Halloween wedding day. Skylar and Sean encouraged their guests to dress in costume for the wedding day and it was so fun to see all the fun costumes the guest arrived in.
Enjoy a look back at their beautiful fall wedding day. I hope to continue to document all the special moments in Skylar and Sean’s life.

[…] When planning a wedding day on a major holiday, why not incorporate the holiday into the style of your day? A Valentine’s Day wedding calls for all the lovely touches of red, black and white and the twist of the rock ‘n roll vibe makes it truly unique. Last fall I had a couple who had a Halloween day wedding. They were able to keep a classy style to their wedding day with traditional bridal attire, but brought in a halloween touch with the bridesmaids wearing beaded roaring 20s themed dresses and touches of fall florals and pumpkins throughout their day. They even encouraged their guests to dress in costume and it was such a fun night! Take a look at their holiday wedding here. […]
