Sarah and Hans’s early May wedding was the perfect blend of sacred tradition, meaningful details, and joyful celebration—rain clouds and all! Held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Knoxville, TN, their ceremony was a beautiful reflection of their faith and love for one another. The church’s stone façade and arched wooden doors made the perfect backdrop for portraits, and while the forecast called for rain all day, we lucked out with perfectly timed breaks in the showers and even a few golden glimmers of sunlight.

Sarah looked stunning in her long-sleeved lace gown, and Hans couldn’t stop smiling the moment he saw her. The couple exchanged vows in a reverent and moving Catholic mass, surrounded by friends and family who clearly adore them. The love and support that filled the church carried over as we moved downtown to The Emporium Center for their reception.

Once at the Emporium, the celebration truly kicked off! From the moment guests entered, the space was alive with color, laughter, and connection. The evening was filled with heartfelt toasts from loved ones—stories that sparked both laughter and tears—as everyone reflected on Sarah and Hans’s journey together.

The dance floor was packed all night long, and it was so much fun capturing every spin, twirl, and joyful moment under the glow of twinkle lights. From sweet flower girl dances to parent hugs and champagne toasts, every moment felt genuine and full of life.

Sarah and Hans, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day—it was an honor to witness the joy you share and the deep love that surrounds you. Rain or shine, your day was absolutely beautiful, and I’m so excited for everything ahead in your new chapter together!
