So yesterday was my little ones first day of the 3rd grade.  I am still over here in denial and wishing time would stop.  One of the things that I love about my daughter going to private school is the fact that she gets to wear a uniform.  That is just one more battle we don’t have to have each morning!  Although now that we are in our fourth year of private school I am missing that pop of personality that she has in our back to school pictures and then throw in the fact that every school picture she is in the uniform too and it is a little blah for me.

So this year I spent the last week of summer just her and I really doing things together and exploring some places we had never been to in the city.  I took the opportunity to snag a few “first day” pictures along the way.
