Lush Forest Wedding in Blush and Navy

The day has finally come! Drew & Savannah started their new journey as husband and wife in a beautiful forest wedding ceremony at Hiwassee River Weddings and Events last week. I have been waiting for this wedding for such a long time and it was everything and more I had imagined.
Last June I received an unknown call on a Thursday. I typically let them go to voicemail as most unknown numbers are some type of spam call, but this time I answered. It was Drew and he was planning to propose to his girlfriend the next day. We began planning and scouting immediately. You can check out the surprise proposal by clicking here. It was a magical day and I was so blessed Drew had reached out. I was later chosen to be their wedding photographer and I was over the moon.
Fast forward to fall and we all traveled out to Hiwassee River Weddings for their engagement session. It was my first time visiting and working at the venue and I was so impressed. Mr. Bill, the owner at Hiwassee is so amazing to work with and always aims to please. Give him a call if you are looking for a forest venue with all the extras! Last Saturday was the big day and it was a simply stunning day. I absolutely love that Savannah chose a blush colored wedding dress for her forest wedding. It was perfect for her. All day I could see the scene from Cinderella where the little mice get Cinderella dressed for the ball. She was truly a princess as the beautiful #blushbride. Savannah and Drew opted not to share a first look before the wedding but instead shared letters with each other and held hands before the ceremony.
